personal property in con tion with'a search of his
car, was contacted at which time he advised that
telephone number FL 7-7009 is his old number and that
it would appear very logical 'pat his name and number
would
be in the personal effedii of RUBY. •
Be advised that he is the owner of the Pago
Club, which is located at 4611 Cole, telephone number
LA 6-5710, and because of the type of business he is in
he has become acquainted with JACK RUBY. Re could not
recall the exact date he first met RUBY but felt that - -
it was 'approximately seven years ago when RUBY used to
have a place of business near the Pago Club which

at that time located at 2228 Mc Kinney, Dallas, Texas.
Like all club owners, he, NORTON, and
RUBY were
brought
together strictly through business contacts and could .
recall having conversation with RUBY strictly in the
line of business, generally in the field of entertainment.
NORTON could recall RUBY stopping in at his club on
various occasions to observe the entertainment and
would on different occasions attempt to employ the
individuals that he (NOIR:a) had for his entertainment.
Mr. NORTON stated that his association with
RUBY
has been strictly that of a business relationship
and could niot7

recall ever socializing with
RUBY.

has never discussed politics with

RUBY express-his likes or dislikes along this line.

went on to say that he last observed
